BONHEIDEN - Just the Way (VDL Zirocco Blue x Hemmingway) and Virginie Thonon (BEL) finished third in the CSI2* Grand Prix over 1.45m in Bonheiden (BEL). L. van Vegchel (NED) bred the eight-year-old bay gelding.
This very promising combination also won the CSI2* 1.45m Grand Prix in Brussels at the end of August.

Nox Blue van de Hertogen (VDL Zirocco Blue x Obsession B) finished fourth in this Grand Prix with the also Belgian rider Ann Carton-Grootjans. Luc Bode (BEL) bred the nine-year-old Nox Blue.

The third Zirocco Blue descendant in the top ten was Geste van de Vihta (VDL Zirocco Blue x Quite Easy), ridden by Bart Clarys (BEL). The 11-year-old bay mare was bred by Frans Standaert (BEL).

Guppie VDL (VDL Arezzo x Cardento 'Elite'), ridden by Jack Ryan (IRL) finished, with only one penalty point, tenth.
