BEARS - Zirocco Blue made himself heard last week. Last week, there were fine Grand Prix results for a good number of Zirocco Blue VDL offspring: Fellow van 't Moerven, Joebon Blue, Zaccorado Blue and Hurricane VDL.

Fellow van 't Moerven (VDL Zirocco Blue x Farmer) finished a fine fourth in the CSI2* 1.45m Grand Prix of Normandie in St-Lô (FRA) under Pedro Junqueira Muylaert (BRA). arc Meeusen (BEL) bred Fellow van 't Moerven.

Joebon Blue (Zirocco Blue x Colander), bred by W. Vos & A. Blom (NED), came a handsome second in the CSI2* 1.45m Grand Prix of Michalowice (POL) under Michaela Jeskova (SVK). Gacarla VDL (Arezzo VDLx Indoctro), bred by the VDL Stud, won the CSI1* 1.35m Grand Prix of Michalowice under her new rider Roksana Nawrocka (POL).

Guessina (Zirocco Blue x Manhattan), ridden by Philipp Schober (GER) were not undeservingly third in the same Grand Prix. Guesssina, an 11-year-old chestnut gelding, comes from the breeding of J.F. Hooghiemstra (NED).

Third place in the CSI4* 1.50m World Cup Grand Prix in El Jadida (MAR) was for Zaccorado Blue (Zirocco Blue VDL x Acorado I) and David Will (GER).
Zaccorado Blue was bred by Tanja Schramm of Ilmenau (GER). 

Hurricane VDL (Zirocco Blue x Indoctro), ridden by Roberto Turchetto (ITA), were placed 11th. H. v. Dael, Kelpen-Oler (NED) bred Hurricane VDL.
