The Late Entry Show in Lemwerder attracted many riders and equestrian fans again this year. Despite the partly unstable wheather, the spectators could enjoy great performances and exciting show jumping competitions. Only two riders got drenched, as there was a warm-up arena that offered protection from rain showers to the participants.

Especially impressive was the top-class field of participants with well-known riders like Carsten-Otto Nagel, Markus Beerbaum, Mylène Nagel, Mynou Diederichsmeyer and Tobias Meyer.

On Tuesday, the first day of the show started with show jumping competitions for young horses in classes A* to M*. Toucento won the highest score of the day, an 8.8 in the elementary class show jumping test for young horses, ridden by Thomas Heineking. The German Champion of 2021, Tobias Meyer claimed victory in the other division of the test on Quite Clever. Hendrik Sosath scored 8.7 to win the novice (A*) level show jumping class with the Casiro son Cachensky on his show debut. Hugo Bleutzen also took third place in the novice (A**) level show jumping class with a young prospect, the five-year-old Ogano daughter One and Only. A successful first appearance. In the next elementary class show jumping test, Diamant de Plaisir II under Hendrik Sosath was convincing and won with a score of 8.7. Markus Beerbaum then claimed victory in the medium (M*) level show jumping test with the Holsteiner Zenzero.

On Wednesday, Hendrik Sosath was able to achieve a double victory in the advanced (S) level show jumping test with his station stallions Ogano and Vagabond.

"I am pleased that our stallions have presented themselves so well here at home. Our concept of breeding and sport together in one place has been excellently met," said Gerd Sosath enthusiastically.

Janne Sosath-Hahn, who was responsible for the show organization, was also very satisfied with the way the show went: "It was a great show with a very good atmosphere. We saw many harmonious rounds and I think we all had great tournament days."

Overall, the Late Entry tournament in Lemwerder was a complete success. We are already looking forward to the next tournament, which will take place on the weekend of June 15-18.
